Possessed provides shopping intelligence, item tracking, price movement alerts, and related tools for The RealReal shoppers. Possessed is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The RealReal.

We collect information you provide directly, information created by your use of the service, and limited technical information.

• Account information, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile image, and sign-in provider identifiers.
• Shopping and tracking information, such as pasted product or Obsessions URLs, watched items, alert preferences, carts, analyzed item data, and activity within the service.
• Communications information, such as verification codes, alert delivery records, and support messages you send us.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, session records, logs, and usage events.
• Payment and subscription status, processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.

If you sign in with Google, we receive the Google account information needed to create and maintain your account, such as your Google account ID, name, email address, and profile image. We use this information only to authenticate you, manage your account, personalize your experience, and provide the service.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell Google user data, or transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the service, comply with law, or with your consent. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use phone numbers to send verification codes and, when you opt in, SMS alerts about items you track. SMS messages may include price drops, item status changes, restocks, or other alert events you select. Message frequency varies based on your tracked items and preferences. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS alerts by changing your alert settings or replying STOP to a message. Reply HELP for help where supported. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties for their marketing purposes.

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Authenticate users and maintain sessions.
• Analyze pasted links and tracked items, generate recommendations, and display item history.
• Send transactional messages, verification codes, service notices, and alerts you request.
• Process subscriptions, enforce usage limits, and prevent abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We share information with service providers that help us run the service, such as authentication, database hosting, messaging, email, analytics, payment processing, and infrastructure providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account information by contacting us.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• You can update alert preferences in your settings.
• You can opt out of SMS alerts by replying STOP or turning off SMS alerts.
• You can disconnect Google sign-in through your Google account permissions.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting us.

The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
